HOW THE WATER WORKS
2222 drops. Six tiers. Nine Oceans at most.
1. ONE TOKEN, ONE DROPLET
DROPLETS is a token with a fixed supply of 2222 and nine decimals. The whole supply was minted once, in the transaction that published the package, and the mint authority was destroyed in that same transaction — the chain records the currency as fixed, so there is nothing to take anyone’s word for.
Condensing takes one whole token and gives you back a Droplet with that token sealed inside it. Half a token is half a token: it stays in your wallet, and it is not an NFT. Melting opens the Droplet and hands the token back, whole, to whoever owns it.
2. WHY IT IS A CLAIM AND NOT A HOOK
On an EVM chain a hybrid mints and burns its NFT inside the token transfer. Sui has no transfer hook — coins are moved by the runtime, and no package gets a say — so the hybrid is built out of ownership instead: the token lives inside the NFT object you hold.
That turns out to be the stronger version. There is no escrow contract holding everyone’s float, no accounting to trust, and no owner who can pause the way out. And because melting returns the coin as a value, a wallet can melt and sell in a single transaction, so a sale is still one click.
3. THE COLOUR OF THE WATER
Every rarity has a fixed number of slots. Condensing draws a colour weighted by the slots still free, so the last drop is forced into whatever is left and the collection lands on exactly the published numbers — not approximately.
A slot is taken while a Droplet is alive and handed back when it melts. “Only two Prisms” is therefore true of every block, forever, and it stays true through fusions: a fusion that rolls into a full colour settles for the nearest one with room.
| Clear | 1100 slots | purity 1 |
| Azure | 600 slots | purity 2 |
| Emerald | 330 slots | purity 4 |
| Violet | 150 slots | purity 8 |
| Gold | 40 slots | purity 16 |
| Prism | 2 slots | purity 32 |
4. SIX TIERS
Three Droplets of the same tier fuse into one of the next, and the new Droplet seals all three tokens inside it. Three drops become a Puddle holding three tokens; 243 drops become an Ocean holding 243.
2222 divided by 243 is nine with drops to spare. At most nine Oceans can exist at any moment, and every one of them melts back into 243 tokens the day its owner wants them.
| Droplet | 1 token | condensed |
| Puddle | 3 tokens | 3 Droplets |
| Pond | 9 tokens | 3 Puddles |
| Lake | 27 tokens | 3 Ponds |
| Sea | 81 tokens | 3 Lakes |
| Ocean | 243 tokens | 3 Seas |
5. WHAT A FUSION ROLLS
The new purity is the three inputs added up. The base rarity is the middle input. On top of that, every fusion has a chance to climb one rarity higher, and that chance grows with the rarest thing you put in — doubled when all three share a colour.
A fusion can never come out more than one rarity below its rarest input, so a Gold put in is never wasted. A Prism anywhere in the lineage leaves a rainbow trace on the art, whatever the final colour; only two lineages can ever carry it.
| rarest input Clear | 10% mixed | 20% pure |
| rarest input Azure | 10% mixed | 20% pure |
| rarest input Emerald | 15% mixed | 30% pure |
| rarest input Violet | 25% mixed | 50% pure |
| rarest input Gold | 40% mixed | 80% pure |
| rarest input Prism | 60% mixed | 120% pure |
6. WEIGHT
Every Droplet carries a weight: its purity to begin with, and for a fusion the sum of the three inputs plus ten percent for the new tier, plus the new rarity’s purity when the roll climbed.
Fusing never costs you weight. It only ever adds. What that weight is good for is decided by what gets built on top of the collection, and nothing here promises a yield.
